Whilst the whole of The Maker Space is a craft space, our dedicated studios are designed to inspire and equipped to get people making. Our upstairs studio is perfect for our cleaner crafts...

for flexibility.
We converted our barn to accommodate our store and our second workroom. It also doubles as an event space, when we host craft fairs, and as overflow cafe space.

Then... the mobile workroom. Our American schoolbus will travel to events and take The Maker Space on the road.

Making the Workrooms.
Our barn workroom was formed by combining the old pub's toilet block, boiler room and garage.
The upstairs workroom emerged when non-original partitions were removed, opening up the old living quarters above the main pub. Browse through the screens below to see how they came about, or click here to see more of the renovations.
